A Dose of Reality is a statewide program that works to educate people about opioid addiction and treatment. They also help people find the nearest treatment centers. Their website is offered in Spanish and they have a whole section on specific Spanish Resources on Narcan. They can also direct you to find NARCAN near you.

The Acute Care Hospital is licensed for 25 beds. It consists of a medical-surgical unit, an Intensive Care Unit, an Obstetrics Unit, 2 Operating Rooms, and a 24 hour Emergency Room service. Outpatient diagnostics and specialty care clinics are also available.

Age Plan Institute is a consulting agency that provides consultations primarily to cognitive and intellectual disability agencies and services, as well as mental health agencies or services.

Alateen is a fellowship of young Al-Anon members, usually teenagers, whose lives have been affected by someone else's drinking; they come together to share, discuss, learn, encourage and help each other to recover from the effects of the disease of alcoholism. These meetings are limited to Alateens and Al-Anon Members in Alateen Service. These meetings are on ZOOM. Tuesday at 7:00 pm and Saturday at 1:30 pm. The Angel Fire AA Family Group is English only. It is Tuesdays at 1:00 pm at Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church in-person.

Angel's Attic is located in Eagle Nest, New Mexico and is a ministry of Angel Fire Baptist Church. It is a thrift store that accepts used items of all kinds, except for large appliances such as refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers, washers and dryers. Items that can be purchased are things like clothing, household items, furniture, bedding, kitchenwares, baby clothing and baby items such as high chairs, strollers, some construction materials, etc.
There is a craft section and a library of books including cookbooks, "How to..." books, and many DVD's, CD's and Video tapes. Bibles are free for the asking!

Blue Sky Ranch offers equine therapy for all populations. There are groups that work with people with substance abuse and mental health issues. They also give horseback riding lessons, which they offer scholarships for. Blue Sky Ranch is certified in Eagala therapy, which is a ground-based therapy.

Cancer Services of New Mexico is an independent, non-profit, organization that provides services to reduce cancer suffering for New Mexico’s families. Programs include: Family Cancer Retreat (virtual and in-person), "LIPA" program offers free, expert Legal, Insurance and Paperwork Assistance to cancer patients/survivors residing in New Mexico, caregiver support program, family cancer resource bags, and cancer treatment organizer.

The Center for Community Innovation (CCI) runs a program called Skillsharp that trains people for any job. The CCI will try and find any certification people could use in trying to pursue a career and help them obtain this certification.

The Children's Workshop provides the following types of therapy: physical, speech, occupational, and developmental. Available to children between birth and three years old who show evidence of a developmental delay or are considered at risk for a developmental delay. There is no income eligibility and all services are provided for free for those who qualify.

The Colfax County DWI/UAD Prevention Program aims to decrease the number of DWI incidents and crashes as well as reducing the use of alcohol by underage drinking through the following means:

Youth Empowerment Services is a program that offers home visiting for families in Colfax and Union Counties in New Mexico.
Home visiting is a free service offered to pregnant women and families with children from 0-5. The home visitors offer non-judgmental support for your family and help prepare parents to cope with the everyday stressors associated with the transition to parenting, which are inevitable when a new baby enters your family. We work with other community organizations to help parents navigate the systems that are available to reduce those stressors. This leaves more time and energy for the joys of parenting as the family builds a relationship with their child.
