Short Description
Alateen is a fellowship of young Al-Anon members, usually teenagers, whose lives have been affected by someone else's drinking; they come together to share, discuss, learn, encourage and help each other to recover from the effects of the disease of alcoholism. Cancer Support Now has a free Helpline open 7 Days a Week, that can be reached at the number above. There are free support groups. To join a group on Zoom, please call the Helpline and they will connect you with the group facilitator, who will send you an invitation to join the group. For all those who are unable to attend a group on a web-based platform, you may use any cell or landline phone to call in and participate in one of these groups by phone. Horses For Heroes calls First Baptist Church, Cimarron home. Short Description
National Veterans Wellness and Healing Center is providing week long retreats for Veterans, Active Duty Military, Reservists, and their significant others who have been diagnosed with PTS (post traumatic stress). The retreats offer traditional and non-traditional healing methods. Included throughout the week are a mix of Native American healing ceremonies, equine reintegration training, massage, yoga, aroma therapy, acupuncture, art therapy, reiki, along with couples and group counseling sessions.
The 2022 Retreats have been scheduled for the following dates:

All Retreats are a total of seven and a half (7 1/2) days. All attendees must commit to the full seven and a half days.
All lodging, meals and meetings are paid by National Veterans Wellness and Healing. Transportation to and from the Retreats is the responsibility of the attendees.

Short Description
The Transgender Resource Center of New Mexico supports transgender, nonbinary, and gender nonconforming communities through direct services, education, and advocacy. There are no bilingual staff, but they work with several translation providers for individuals who need to access the services and where English is not a language they feel comfortable using. This includes providing translation for support groups; one such group, the Black and Brown TGNBI group, has a facilitator who is bilingual. They are willing to work with anyone who needs services and assistance, and that includes the Spanish speaking transgender community.
