The facility offers twenty private rooms to senior individuals who require assistance with their daily activities or oversight of their healthcare needs. The family environment provides a select library, spacious living area for reading and visiting, a beauty salon/barber shop for services from our on-staff beautician and a piano for musical enjoyment. Weekly in house church services are hosted on a rotating basis by local churches. Each resident's room is equipped with individual climate controls to meet individual comfort levels. Residents can also enjoy access to the internet for streaming TV services or distance communication with family and friends. Short Description
Eagle Nest Senior Center is a place for adults 60+ to socialize, learn, share meals, have fun, and support each other. It is the goal of Eagle Nest Senior Center to assist seniors in Eagle Nest. The Senior Center is open Monday through Friday from 10:30 am to 3:00 pm. Extended hours of 9:30 am to 3:00 pm are available during the months of July and August. Wi-Fi, exercise equipment and social activities are also available. A nutritious congregate meal is served to an eligible person which meets one-third (1/3) of the dietary reference intake (DRI) at the Senior Center Monday through Friday. Please reserve your meal 24 hours in advance by calling 575-377-1344. Hot, cold and frozen Home Delivered Meals are provided for eligible individuals which meets one-third (1/3) of the DRI to assist the recipient sustain independent living in a safe and healthful environment 5 or more days a week.

Short Description
In New Mexico, the Aging and Long-Term Services Department oversees the Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program (LTCOP). The NM LTCOP consists of dedicated Ombudsman volunteers and coordinators who visit residents in long-term care facilities (nursing homes, assisted living facilities, etc.) The Ombudsman Program provides advocacy and assistance by offering residents a means to voice their concerns and have their complaints addressed.

The Legal Resources for the Elderly Program (LREP) is a free, statewide helpline for New Mexico residents age 55 and older. Each caller speaks with a trained intake staff member, who collects the necessary contact and demographic information.
